Avengers: Doomsday, set to be released in December 2026, revealed the main teaser on July 20th with the new poster. 

Although Marvel had already released brief teaser videos featuring main characters from the movie before, the full trailer remained unseen until now. 

The newly released teaser poster creates an ominous atmosphere, featuring a mysterious figure in a dark green cape standing alone inside a shadowy temple in front of a massive mural.

Holding a mask in one hand while concealing their face, the figure heightens curiosity and teases the long-awaited debut of Doctor Doom, a character whose introduction has been eagerly anticipated by fans.

The mural dominating the center of the poster evokes a sacred and mythical aura, hinting at the epic scope of the film.

By prominently featuring Doctor Doom—the ultimate villain who threatens the fate of the entire universe—the poster builds anticipation for the inevitable battle between Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Avengers: Doomsday.

The teaser trailer opens at Xavier's School for young mutants, delighting longtime Marvel fans with a familiar and beloved setting.

However, the mood quickly darkens as a voice delivers a chilling warning, "Something is coming. Something we may not be able to deter," foreshadowing a mysterious force that threatens all of humanity.

The tension escalates with Thor's ominous narration: "I've fought with many warriors in my time. They were far stronger than all of us together. They died facing enemies."

His words recall the sacrifices made by countless heroes in Avengers: Endgame.

The teaser then showcases several epic matchups that Marvel fans have long anitcipated.

Shang-Chi, the master of Kung Fu, engages in combat with the mutant Gambit.

Meanwhile, the New Avengers' agent Yelena Belova battles the shapeshifting mutant Mystique.

The main scene of the teaser is Thor's confrontation with Doctor Doom.

Thor attacks Doctor Doom with his legendary axe, Stormbreaker, reminiscent of his famous strike against Thanos in the previous Avengers films.

While Thanos suffered critical damage from Thor's attack, Doctor Doom effortlessly stops Stormbreaker using only two fingers.

This moment shocks fans as Thor is widely regarded as one of the strongest Avengers.

The climactic action scene reveals the return of Captain America, once again thrilling fans.

The trailer further heightens expectations with powerful lines such as, "If we don't stand together, their sacrifices will be meaningless," and "If we survive this, we'll return as brothers bound by blood."

These lines underscore the Avengers' urgent need to reunite in the face of multiversal threat.

As heroes from different worlds appear one after another, the trailer promises new team ups leaving fans eagerly awaiting the legendary cry of "Avengers Assemble!" once again.

The trailer culminates with the shocking return of Steve Rogers, accompanied by the iconic Avengers theme, delivering a thrilling finale that signals the beginning of the biggest battle in MCU history.

Directed by the Russo Brothers, who previously helmed several of Marvel's most successful Avengers films, Avengers: Doomsday carries high expectations.
