The K-Pop industry has witnessed a groundbreaking debut with the All Day Project, a mixed-gender group introduced by Teddy.
Teddy is the renowned producer behind the global powerhouses of BIGBANG and BLACKPINK.
Debuting on June 23, 2025, under The Black Label entertainment company, All Day Project has already made their waves in the musical industry both musically and culturally with their distinct sound and diverse member composition.
The group consists of five members: Annie, Tarzan, Bailey, Woochan, and Youngseo; each has captured the public’s attention with their different backgrounds and talents.
From the outset, the group’s vision has been clear; to transcend the traditional and conventional boundaries of genre and form; their concept is inspired by endless comments in video from the Black Lives’ Matter.
Their debut singles, released as a double title release of Famous and Wicked is already dominating the music charts.
The former was introduced with a pre-release music video, which quickly soared to the top of Melon’s Top 100 and YouTube’s breaking videos.
It was then followed by the latter, a high-energy track that quickly gained traction for its dynamic stage performances and captivating choreography.
Within four days, All Day Project had claimed one of the top spots on multiple Korean music charts.
Their appearance on Cultwo Show further showcased the group’s chemistry, despite being a co-ed group.
The group showed live renditions of Wicked, which left both the studio guests and fans raving.
One of the members, Woochan, expressed how the group’s debut “exceeded everything [he] imagined”, marking a surreal success in history.
The group is also praised for its diverse lineup.
Annie, one of the female members, is not only a performer but also a student at Columbia University studying art history.
Meanwhile, Bailey brings years of competitive dance experience in various styles, enriching the group’s choreography.
Tarzan adds further depth to the group by being a runway and commercial model, often taking the spotlight in fashion-focused campaigns and brand collaborations.
Woochan, previously known for his appearance on Show Me the Money 6, is celebrated for his lyrical depth and delivery despite his young age.
His journey from a child rapper to a famous idol has inspired many fans who have followed his evolution over the years.
Youngseo, the group’s main vocalist, was trained under multiple agencies and is known for her emotionally rich voice; she often draws comparisons to other vocalists from second-generation K-Pop.
All of the members together form a group that reflects the globally conscious group that the K-Pop industry is leaned more towards.
Looking ahead, the group is already gearing up for more promotions, appearances overseas, and potentially an international tour.
Their distinctive identity and fearless approach to performance position them not just as a rising act, but as a new blueprint for the future for the K-Pop industry.
As the first mixed gender K-Pop group since many years ago, the All Day project is redefining the norms in K-Pop; the group stands poised to become the new norm of the new generation in this industry.
