Samsung wins 46 awards at the CES 2023

Samsung won 46 Innovation Awards at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), including three Best of Innovation Honorees.
Samsung products were honored in Mobile Devices & Accessories, Digital Imaging/Photography, Digital Health, Wearable Technologies, Video Displays, Gaming, Home AV Components & Accessories, and Software & Mobile App categories.
CES, one of the world’s most influential tech events, was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, from January 5th to January 8th.
Consumer Technology Association owns and produces the event.
CES provides technology leaders with various opportunities to connect and collaborate.
It is also an event where numerous tech businesses and companies share their latest innovations.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CES was held online in 2021 and primarily online last year.
However, this year, CES gave a face-to-face and booth-to-booth experience for individuals in the consumer technology industry.
CES features the latest developments in various fields, such as cars, phones, televisions, laptops, monitors, and smart home gadgets.
Out of all the developments, outstanding designs and products are honored by the CES Innovation Awards every year.
Among the numerous prestigious companies, Samsung announced that 46 new innovative products had received the CES 2023 Innovation Awards.
The company received the prestigious Best of Innovation Honoree in Computer Peripherals & Accessories, Video Displays, and Cybersecurity & Personal Privacy categories.
Samsung said the company reinforced its dedication to providing customizable products to consumers and protecting the world’s ecosystem.
They also focused on making an impact on the environment.
Many of these honored products included eco-friendly features such as using repurposed fishing nets and 100% recycled paper for product packaging on Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4.
Samsung invested in sustainable materials and increased energy efficiency in its developments.
Furthermore, it also invested in recycling and repairable devices.
Samsung decreased the amount of their carbon footprint by using 100% renewable energy in every facility in the United States, Europe, and China.
Samsung’s SmartThings Energy app was also introduced at the CES in the Software & Mobile Apps category.
The SmartThings platform provides users with various ways to reduce their carbon footprint at home.
The methods include monitoring home appliances on energy usage and tracking and comparing usage.
The app will let users manage devices such as lights, door locks, speakers, and cameras.
Users will receive energy-saving tips and alerts that can help them lower their energy usage.
Samsung Wallet has also been recognized in the Software & Mobile Apps cattery.
Samsung Pass and Samsung Pay were combined into Samsung Wallet.
Samsung Wallet provides users with a system to keep their digital information in one place.
For instance, Samsung Wallet can keep the users’ credit cards, digital keys, student IDs, driver’s licenses, and more.
The platform offers a secure system that can store users’ digital data and information.
This system can be used in everyday lives conveniently and efficiently.
Overall, Samsung brought new innovative ideas to life, focusing on sustainability and energy usage.
It is no wonder that Samsung's changes in energy sufficiency contributed to winning 46 Innovation Awards in the Consumer Electronics Show.
