The 2026 Canadian International AutoShow, Canada’s largest automotive exhibition, kicked off at the Metro Toronto Convention Center on February 13, bringing car enthusiasts from across the country.

The event showcases everything from cutting-edge electric vehicles to rare hypercars, offering visitors a valuable experience.

This year’s theme, “Driven by Choice,” emphasizes the wide variety of vehicles that are on the market today, ranging from family SUVs and hybrids to high performance models.

Attendees were greeted by  a diverse array of manufacturers including Audi, BMW, Ford, Lexus, Mercedes‑Benz, Toyota, and Volvo.

Visitors  had the opportunity to sit behind the wheel, touch the controls, and explore the interiors, giving them more personal experience.

The highlight of the show was the Exotic section, featuring some of the rarest supercars and hypercars in the world.

The dealership ‘Grand Touring Automobiles’ brought an extraordinary lineup of hyper cars that are rarely seen in Canada, making one of the most popular sections at the event.

Among the hypercars on display were the Aston Martin Valhalla, Bugatti Mistral, and Koenigsegg Jesko, all of which captivated the crowd’s attention.

Beyond those hypercars, the McLaren Toronto and the Pfaff Group presented a trio of iconic supercars: The legendary McLaren F1, the hybrid‑powered McLaren P1, and the brand‑new McLaren W1.

These three vehicles showed how the company has improved its cars over the years, from the famous F1 of the 1990s to the new hybrid W1, which is the most powerful McLaren ever made.

Classic cars also stole the spotlight.

There were displays of  muscle cars and classic cars that visitors could see up close.

This section allowed visitors to compare the  timeless designs with the high tech features of modern cars, showing how automotive technology and style have changed over decades.

Attendees could also take part in hands-on experiences, making the show even more exciting.

One of the most popular attractions was the off-road course called Camp Jeep, where guests could ride in a Jeep through bumpy ramps and obstacles.

There was also an indoor electric vehicle test track, where visitors could sit in and try out the latest electric and hybrid cars.

For those looking for real purchase there was an outdoor test drive that allowed people to test vehicles on actual roads.

By combining interactive driving experiences with rare hypercars and creative exhibits, the 2026 Canadian International AutoShow proved to be more than just a display of vehicles.

With thousands of visitors attending over the week, the event delivered a memorable and engaging experience for car enthusiasts of all ages.
